Goondiwindi, Qld

My name is Patricia, and I have been a Family Day Care  Educator since 2010, I have 14 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren, so you could say that children are a very big part of my life.

I believe that each child is an individual and as Family Day care Educator, I will value and develop each child's strengths, interests, skills, abilities and knowledge to extend their learning. I believe that children learn through play, I will incorporate things like, hygiene, manners and how to be kind to one another whilst having fun. I will provide enriching fun opportunities for children to explore, discover, create and imagine in a Safe and supportive Family Day Care environment.

I welcome children from all cultures and ethnic back grounds, and I will ensure that all children are supported equally whilst respecting their cultural differences.

As a Family Day care Educator I encourage families to be part of the children’s day to day activities and will provide detailed report/photos of each child so that the families/Carers can discuss the children’s day at Family Day Care to ensure no one is missing out on the Fun times they had whilst in my care.

Tammy
Goondiwindi, Qld

Hello, my name is Tammy Osborne, I have over 18 years’ experience as a Family Day Care Educator, Group Leader and Assistant in centres.  I have 2 Granddaughters whom I adore! I am a very family orientated person.

My Family Day-care setting is one where the children can get muddy in the mud kitchen, make sandcastles, listen to and dance to music while they catch bubbles and make friends.

I believe each young child is an individual, exceptional and is always treated with respect. That each child has the right to a safe, healthy, caring & trusting, nurturing environment in my home where they feel secure.

I endeavour to develop positive partnerships with families and the Community that are based upon trust and open communication, so families feel welcome in my home.  Also, to offer opportunities to learn and value diversity of cultures.

Ruby
Goondiwindi, Qld

Hi I’m Ruby! I run Daisy’s Day Care.
I’m a young mum to my beautiful little daughter Daisy. I hold a Certificate iii in early childhood education and care. I’m a huge family person! I absolutely love children. In my service, I will teach children good hygiene and good manners.

I am a strong believer that children learn through play, my service will offer lots of different types of play, muddy play, messy play, singing and dancing and so much more! I will provide opportunities for children to explore, create and imagine.

My goal as an educator is to provide a happy, safe, and rich environment where children feel safe to explore and feel free to express themselves.
I am creative and love to stay active and I bring these passions into my early childhood teaching. I believe that the early years is an important time to nurture children’s love of learning and foster their overall wellbeing.

GLENMORGAN DISTRICT

Tennelle
Glenmorgan, Qld

I'm Tennelle, the dedicated educator at Glemmorgan Gumnuts.
I hold all required qualifications including my Diploma in Early Education and have recently obtained my Bachelor of Education Birth to Five years. My journey with GDIFDC commenced in 2022, while my involvement in the early childhood sector dates back to 2017.
I strongly advocate for the natural abilities and competence of each child. Acknowledging their absorbent minds, I underscore the significance of acquiring knowledge through engaging play experiences. I believe my role as an educator is to initiate, guide, motivate, respond, encourage and observe during implantation of activities. Central to my philosophy is fostering an environment where children experience a profound sense of well-being, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met within a safe, caring, and supportive setting. Here, they are free to play, develop, and express themselves as they see fit.
